Our editorial process

We begin with breed standards, veterinary sources, university resources, government guidance, product documentation, and other identifiable sources appropriate to the topic. We do not treat anonymous forums or unsourced claims as authoritative evidence.
2. Writing
Articles are written for ordinary dog owners. We explain practical decisions in plain language and identify when information is general, uncertain, product-specific, or dependent on an individual dog.
3. Review
We check articles for factual accuracy, clarity, broken links, unsupported health claims, and Dachshund-specific context. Unless an article identifies a qualified reviewer, it has not been individually reviewed by a veterinarian or certified trainer.
